There are two Tyka versions available: the normal version and the server edition.
The
normal edition is intended for users who simply want to race online or host their own session.
The
server edition is intended for dedicated servers as this version allows hosting more than one dedicated server through Tyka simultanously. A full description of how the server edition works can be found in the
guides.
Tyka requires Windows XP or higher. Earlier versions are not supported, but might work.
Tyka is a very light client and therefore has very low system requirements. It hardly uses any memory or CPU power.
Tyka has mostly been tested on Windows XP. For Vista or higher it is recommended to run Tyka with administrator rights and UAC turned off.
